The cross Government Organisational Design Community of Practice commissioned trials of the participatory meeting method ProFacilitation uses.


This 12 page case study presents the participant evaluations of two meetings, one half day planning meeting of 16 Ministry of Justice staff and one full day meeting of 22 Department of Work and Pensions staff.


This paper presents strong evidence that validates the effectiveness of ProMeet.





























Key findings

82% of participants thought ProMeet is better than the traditional way of meeting.
89% of participants thought ProMeet’s use of meeting objectives is better than the more traditional agenda.
The ProMeet wallchart and gridcard visual system gained near unanimous support for helping the meeting’s structure, focus, progress and record, as well as aiding full participation.
93% of participants thought ProMeet would be useful in their department.
Over three quarters thought ProMeet should be more broadly adopted at DWP and MoJ.
